  Crawford Public Transportation is available Monday through Friday
  7:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. for local bus service on a demand-response basis
  (no fixed routes).
  Local Charges: $1.00 per boarding. 
  Also available: $10 Pass for 11 boardings.
  Payment is accepted by cash or check.  

Mission Statement
It is the mission of Crawford Public Transportation to provide safe, efficient, affordable public transportation to area residents in accordance with Local, State and Federal guidelines.
It is the duty of all staff and passengers of Crawford Public Transportation to provide safe transportation for the general public.
It is the responsibility of Crawford Public Transportation to provide services economically, and in accordance with, sound management practices and procedures under the direction of the City of Crawford City Council.

With prior arrangements, trips to regional cities include:
Chadron             $25    
Fort Robinson    $4
Alliance              $45
Scottsbluff          $60
Hot Springs        $50
Rapid City          $75
County Service: the flat rate of $5 plus double the standard mileage rate for business travel from the Crawford City Limits to the point of destination for Dawes County residents that live within 5 miles of:
Hwy 2/71 north to the Oglala National Grassland
Hwy 20 east towards Chadron
Hwy 2/71 south to the Dawes County line

Rider Etiquette & Rules
Crawford Public Transportation has set a policy for normal and standard behaviors when using the system. If these behaviors cannot be followed by the passenger, the following steps may be taken:
Behaviors:
Remaining seated while the bus is in motion.
Keeping hands and personal objects to yourself.
No foul language to any other rider.
No screaming or yelling on the bus. Normal volume levels when speaking.
Behavior penalties:
First offense – A warning letter will be sent.
Second offense – A second letter will be sent and rides will be discontinued for one week.
Third offense – A third and final letter will be sent, and rides will be discontinued indefinitely.
Crawford Public Transportation reserves the right to terminate services immediately.

Transportation Services are provided for the General Public of all ages.
